Hereford Cattle
The Black breed developed in Kansas in 1994 when two breeders bred registered and Angus to produce an F1, or the first generation offspring. The F1 females were then bred back to registered bulls in order to select for the black coat color. Since then the breed has developed rapidly, and in the last 4 years they have had over 10,000 head registered.
